These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of text-based Sanmei Astrology reading services provided by Sanmei Astrology ("we", "us", "our") through our website and related communications.

We provide personal guidance based on Sanmei Astrology (Roots of Chinese Astrology) principles, delivered as written text (for example by email or PDF attachment). The service is for personal reflection, enjoyment, and general educational insight only. It is not the sole or primary basis for major decisions concerning your health, finances, legal position, relationships, or other serious matters.
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase or use our services. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
Our readings are not medical, mental health, legal, financial, investment, tax, or other professional advice. They are not a substitute for care or counsel from a qualified professional. You are solely responsible for your decisions and actions. If you need professional help, consult an appropriately qualified professional.
We do not guarantee specific results, accuracy, or that any description or prediction will occur. Readings are subjective and interpretive, not statements of fact or certainty.
We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the service, you acknowledge that we collect and use information needed to deliver your reading (such as contact details and intake information) and that payment data is handled by our payment provider as described there and at checkout.
Prices and delivery timelines are shown on the booking page at the time of purchase. Payment is processed through Stripe (or as stated at checkout). You agree to pay all fees shown and to provide accurate, complete information required to deliver your reading.
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit (including birth data, names, contact email, and intake answers). We are not responsible for limitations or errors in a reading that result from incorrect, incomplete, or ambiguous information you supplied. We may rely on what you submit without independent verification.
Delivery timelines begin after we receive all required intake information. If clarification is needed, we may request limited follow-up as described on the booking page. If you do not respond within 48 hours of our request, we may complete the reading using the information you already provided.
The service for your order is deemed complete when we send the finished reading to the email address or channel you specified (or as described on the booking page). Risk of loss or non-receipt after sending may be addressed under applicable law. If your reading has not arrived by your plan timeline, please contact us within 7 days after the delivery due date shown for your plan. Contacting us in that window helps us investigate delivery issues quickly.
Refund requests must be submitted to hello@sanmeiastrology.com within 7 days of payment.
Where legally permitted, refund amounts may be reduced by non-refundable payment processor fees, currency conversion fees, or bank transfer charges that are not returned to us. We will explain any such deductions in your refund response.
We may refuse service and issue a full refund if we determine a request is outside the scope of our services or incompatible with these Terms.
Statutory rights. Nothing in this section limits any mandatory rights you may have under the laws of your country or region (including consumer protection rules). Where such laws give you a stronger remedy, those provisions apply to the extent required.
The reading is provided for your personal, non-commercial use only. Without our prior written consent, you may not resell, republish, publicly perform, or systematically redistribute the reading; use it to train or develop machine learning or AI systems; or use it in a way that infringes our rights or misleads others about our role. You may keep a copy for your personal records. You may also share limited excerpts for personal discussion (for example with family, partner, or a trusted advisor), but full redistribution or commercial reuse is not permitted.
Each reading is interpreted by a human practitioner applying Sanmei Astrology principles. AI tools may assist with drafting and translation into English, but the astrological interpretation and final review are always performed by the practitioner. We do not deliver purely automated readings as a substitute for human interpretation.
You may not use our services for harassment, abuse, impersonation, fraud, or any unlawful purpose. You may not attempt to circumvent payment or misuse another person’s identity or data without proper authorization. We may refuse or stop service if we reasonably believe a request is abusive, unsafe, or incompatible with these Terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or caps; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent the law allows.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would apply another law. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court, except where mandatory consumer protection rules in your place of residence require a different court or law for certain claims.
We may update these Terms or the service (including pricing). When we update these Terms, we will change the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will use reasonable means to notify you where appropriate (for example, by email or a notice on the site). If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the service. Continued use after the effective date of changes (where notice is not required by law) means you accept the updated Terms.
